It helps reprocess and leave in the past, intrusive memories, upsetting thoughts and emotions associated with the distressing experience so that we can heal and move forward.

CFT

Compassion Focussed Therapy

Helps address mental health difficulties that are linked to self-criticism, shame and guilt. It incorporates aspects of CBT, Mindfulness and evolutionary developmental and social psychology. It focuses on the development of self-compassion and our 'soothing system' in order to reduce feelings of shame, guilt and anxiety.

ABOUT ME

I am an Accredited CBT and EMDR psychotherapist providing a professional, compassionate and confidential psychotherapy service to adults. I offer evidence based and effective psychological therapies that are recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
 
I am based in Cornwall and offer secure online video therapy sessions using Zoom to clients throughout the UK. Myself and many other therapists have found online sessions to be as effective as face to face. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for you to ask me any questions, discuss your needs and help us decide if I might be an appropriate therapist for you to book an assessment with.
